"Revolutions never go backwards." said Wendell Phillips over 150 years ago, and he was right.
Team Revolutie is not moving backwards as well, the team recently changed its nationality to dutch. "Back when the team started it was easier to get a Syrian license, but now that we haven proven our worth, the dutch cycling federation has accepted us without hesitation", states Manager Michieltje.
With this huge change the team is not finished with its revolution. One of their main captains will be rented to a lower division team, that rider is Julian Pope, last weeks winner of the Roubaix Classic. Manager Michieltje explains: "We felt we needed room to expand and renting out Julian Pope gives us the financial ability to do so. We will be focusing on expanding our TT ambitions and have started training a young sprinter from Kazakhstan, next season Julian Pope will return to our team".
There you have it, a team living up to its name. Now its up to Michieltje to make sure Revolutions do not go backwards indeed.

He just finished training, not a long time ago. :)
@cider
Your spaniard is very nice. Did I never notice him or did he just finish training?
Want to buy one of my TT'ers? I will give you a very special price.
Has Syrian soil gotten a bit too hot under your feet?
